Summary:
The Colorado Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CCTSI) provides infrastructure and core technology resources designed to enhance clinical and basic sciences, promote research excellence, and train the next generation of clinical/translational scientists.
Examples of Work Performed:
Technical Assignment Lab 75% Handles human specimens including blood, urine, and sputum.
Master study materials, including but not limited to protocols, workflows, and all other essential study documents for assigned studies Perform study-related processes, procedures, and assays as defined in study protocol and in compliance with regulating bodies Performs assays including automated chemistry analyzers, HPLC/UPLC, ELISA, and RIA while using standard laboratory equipment.
Accurately enters data pertaining to protocols, quality controls, and equipment performance.
Lab Operations:
25% Writing and following lab manuals and SOPs Maintain and update inventory and database/s Why Join Us:

CTRC Core Laboratories are CAP- and CLIA-accredited and provide trained personnel, reagents, equipment, and QC capabilities to conduct assays for research studies.

Bachelor of Science, or related field.
(A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
) 1-2 years experience as a clinical lab technologist or assistant Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) Ability to interpret research protocols and translate to a series of events requiring specific support assets Superior communication and organizational skills Experience in a high pace environment with multiple stakeholders Detail oriented Possess excellent time management, organizational, written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team of academic researchers and community members.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE ($45,801 - $58,259).
The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
