Logistics Manager with Security Clearance
This position serves as the Logistics Manager at a US Government activity.
The incumbent will direct daily operations in the Consolidated Service Center (CSC), Logistic, Warehousing and Property Management.
Areas of responsibility include shipping and receiving, warehousing, property management, stock control activities, a consolidated supply services office, and transportation functions.
Additionally, this position interacts with other program managers to ensure effective support to program projects and facilities operations and maintenance (O&M).
Principal Job Duties &
Responsibilities:
o Manage personnel and provide an environment for the development and professional advancement of staff members, including on-the-job and formal training and development opportunities, and timely performance feedback.
Ensure team members have necessary training to complete their duties and work in a safe environmento Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policieso Responsible for the implementation, management, and monitoring of the material management work process and warehouse management system of record (SAP)o Manage the material management activities for designated projects and operations requirementso Direct the generation of Purchase Requests (PR) in the approved material management referenceSystem o Maintain the highest ethical standards of material management professional responsibilityo Leverage internal and external resources to administer policies and procedures consistently across all business lines, functions, and locationso Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; recommend/implement appropriate courses of actiono Organize and prioritize a variety of complex projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlineso Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standardso Recommended Skills Ethics Forecasting Sap Applications Sustainability Warehouse Management Systems Safety Principles Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
