Space Force Remote Sensing SE&I program to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle.

citizenship is required The Journeyman MBSE/Digital Engineer will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
Incorporating Digital Engineering (DE) to establish authoritative systems definitions and manage Remote Sensing system baseline complexity Working to a DE Development Plan to document the DE ecosystem, tools, processes and industry standards.
Developing and maintaining the authoritative source of truth to allow Government access to an integrated, seamless, and real-time DE environment platform that enables interactive development and collaboration among systems engineers at the Government portfolio and program levels Developing integrated Government approved views consisting of the architecture, requirements, requirements verification, schedule and risks into a consistent and traceable system definition for each capability area.
Ensuring traceability of CONOPS and Operational Threads to activity diagrams (OV-5b, OV-6c) to role-specific, verb-based user stories or use cases (as appropriate), which trace to scenario-based test and evaluation test cases Reviewing and analyzing program prime contractor DE resources and models to include assessment of proper linkage of architecture to requirements and their verification, consistency of system definition data, bi-directional traceability of requirements, and traceability to authentic requirements.
Support development of portfolio models that enable the analysis of the As-Is and To-Be Remote Sensing full-lifecycle portfolio architecture, and enable coordination with external or higher level U.

Space Command enterprise models Work with team to develop and manage program architecture products to include Department of Defense (DoD) Architecture Framework (DODAF) architecture views and an Information Support Plan (ISP) (or Tailored ISP (TISP)), IAW Air Force ISP Guide, JCIDS Manual, CJCSI 5123.

Must have an active/current SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret / SCI clearance Bachelor's degree in an Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field and five (5) - seven (7) years of relevant experience; Master's degree and three (3) - five (5) years of relevant experience; PhD and zero experience - two (2) years of experience; High-school Diploma/GED and nine (9) years of relevant experience in lieu of a completed degree 4
years of experience performing systems engineering analysis and developing systems engineering products for satellite systems 2
years of experience using Model-Based Systems Engineering tools, such as Sparx EA, MagicDraw or Cameo, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody Experience with the development of technical specifications, ICDs, and integration plans and schedules Experience with automation or scripting in JavaScript, Python, or VTL Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical risks and issues, develop technical reports, and collaborate with government and other stakeholders to implement recommended solutions Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
Qualifications:
A current TS/SCI security clearance Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on space-based remote sensing systems, including SBIRS, Next Generation OPIR, FORGE, STSS, HBTSS, DMSP, WSF-M, and EWS Experience with OPIR payloads, space-based weather payloads, satellite busses, and satellite subsystems, including propulsion, thermal control, power, attitude control, TT&C, communications, data processing, and structures Experience with MATLAB, STK, ModelCenter, or TeamCenter Knowledge of Agile Methodologies Possession of strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills TS/SCI clearance Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or IT INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification OMG Certified Systems Model Professional Certification Salary Range Estimates:
The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.

Target Salary Range $86,000 - $138,000.
This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
