Customer is moving datacenters within the same campus.
Looking to consolidate vCenters and hardware footprint.
Looking for someone to assist in planning this move and consolidation of older vmware environments into new vCenter.
New vCenter will be on VxRail hardware to be deployed by Dell deployment services.
Planning engineer for new environment to help design & oversee transition of projects between new environment & repurposing of old environment.
Scope Details:
Strengths and knowledge behind VxRail and vCenter/vSphere.
o Assisting the customer with transitional responsibilities related to post-implementation management, and knowledge transfer to support the solution environment.
o Sharing ownership of transitional responsibilities for solution migration, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, provisioning, and service level alignments.
o Assisting with the solution documentation of policies and procedures in conjunction with the compliance manager(s) and with other key stakeholders.
o Providing knowledge transfer of best practices to address Customer's skills and resource gaps, to ensure successful implementation of Customer's technologies.
Recommended Skills Maintenance V Mware V Sphere Vcenter Regulatory Compliance Stakeholder Management Vmware Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
