Infrastructure Engineer VMware
Top 3 Requirements:
- DoD 8570.
01 IAT Level 2 certification or higher (requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications:
CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security
CE, SSCP) - DoD Secret clearance (or higher) - A minimum of 5 years of System Administration experience in Windows environments - Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, VDI, and ESX virtual computing methods - Experience with Automation tools such as Chef or Ansible Plusses:
- Linux Administration and troubleshooting experience - Experience with Automation tools such as Chef or Ansible - Experience with developing solutions and documentation for a variety of PC and Server architectures.
- Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, VDI, and ESX virtual computing methods Day to Day/Project:
o What are the main functions of this role? - Provide Windows Systems Administration - Run automation scripts to build systems - Troubleshoot COTS integration issues - Utilize troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems.
- Manage small OS and Infrastructure projects/processes with limited supervision and can work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment.
Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements.
