Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professional Community Partnerships & Associates' Day Program located in Aurora is looking for energetic, dedicated, and enthusiastic direct support staff to work with and engage adults with Developmental Disabilities.
We provide day program services Monday through Thursday, and offer community based and base site activities that promote life-long learning and experiences for a variety of individuals.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The direct care and supervision of all individuals in the program Providing a safe and nurturing environment for the individuals Knowledge of all individuals' Service Plans and goals associated with each individual Implementing all individuals' ISSPs and following the programs created for them Completing tracking and daily log sheets on specified individuals daily Providing transportation to specified individuals as assigned Following and implementing day program schedule Leading group discussions about specified topics Teaching daily living skills The activities of the day program include community outings, as well as activities at the base site.
Some of the activities include swimming, bowling, touring museums, volunteering, and arts & crafts.
Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's license with passable MVR.
Background check conducted prior to hire.
All employees must have or obtain upon hire Adult First Aid & CPR Certification, Defensive Driving Certification, and QMAP.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word preferred.
Experience preferred, but not required.
