Quick Apply Full-time 2 hours ago Full Job Description FULL -TIME $18-$20/hr POSITION SUMMARY The Maintenance Technician position performs minor maintenance repairs (non-electrical) and general custodial duties as needed and/or assigned addressing immediate operational and/or safety concerns.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS In addition to reporting directly to the Office Manager, the Maintenance Technician interacts with the positions of Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, Operations Manager - Inventory, Inventory Technician, Production Shift Leads (PSL) and Accounting Associate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Plumbing:
includes the repair of faucets, toilets, replacement of kitchen water filters Drywall:
includes filling in of small holes in drywall Painting:
includes minor touch ups following damage repair Grounds keeping:
includes sweeping around dumpsters, loading dock area, emptying cigarette receptacle and outside trash, cleaning/maintenance of picnic tables Cleaning:
includes cleaning of ATP trays, MTS machine and surrounding area, Pill Cutting Machine, Pill Counter; removal of ice buildup in freezers, cleaning of Beacon Bay areas, cleaning of totes and removal of sticker residue, cleaning of fingerprint readers, removal of sticker residue from pharmacy floor, cleaning of med carts for onboarding and general repair, if needed Inventory of Boxes:
build boxes for SeniorLife, maintain adequate inventory of boxes with replenishment from storage pods at Warehouse weekly, maintain adequate inventory of UPS boxes notifying Operations Manager-Inventory of need to reorder Company Vans:
maintain gasoline levels; report to Office Manager when oil changes and other maintenance repairs are required Custodial:
Vacuum offices, break down cardboard boxes for recycling, replace air fresheners in restrooms, stock copy paper for Bizhubs, clean light fixtures and replace bulbs as needed, clean white boards in conference rooms, replace ceiling tiles as needed, clean blinds, refill/maintain automatic hand sanitizer dispensers Snow Removal - maintain salt inventory and salt sidewalks as needed Loading Dock Leveler - regular maintenance with grease to avoid corrosion ADDITIONAL DUTIES Purchase food items/paper products/ice for special events and occasional office/pharmacy supplies, as needed EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION AND
Experience:
High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution is required.
Two-three years of experience as a maintenance technician.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
