Aurora, CO Aurora, CO Full-time Full-time $19 - $22 an hour $19 - $22 an hour General Summary Inventory Control Data Analyst works to develop and present opportunities to improve business practices by collecting, analyzing, and transforming data into useful and meaningful information that encourages more effective, strategic, and operational insight and collaborative decision-making.
The Inventory Control Data Analyst develops inventory forecasts and provides ongoing communication of on hand inventory levels and recommendations for mitigating shortages and obsolescence.
They will make recommendations for saving costs and optimizing inventory for review/approval, production, and shipping.
Essential Job Functions Analyze transactions and data in order to carry out the proper research methods for missing product.
Determine inventory status, create reports and recommend process changes Oversee inventory-related issues Discover, analyze, and fix discrepancies among inventory and sales data (AFS-EWM) Cycle count for accuracy between systemic and physical inventory Create physical inventory documents within SAP for necessary adjustments Move product back to stock physically or systemically when canceling orders or whenever necessary Create outbound and inbound delivery numbers for Part number changes.
Assortments, and product movement Work in both an office and warehouse setting.
Use heavy equipment (Forklifts, Powered Cherry Pickers, Waves, etc) to find missing product Maintain bin availability Solid organizational and follow-through skills, performing work accurately with strong attention to detail Track and find product while working under pressure Make sure processes are carried out till the end when Inventory control is involved Check random product and its availability and assigned location for accuracy Help replenishment and picking areas when not finding product Help solving SAP issues within the different warehouse areas if possible Find product physically and systemically using different variance reports.
Oversee or support inventory processes within the Safilo Group Scrap discontinued or damaged product Performs product searches via system history reports Conducts physical inventory counts on product Inputs all data entry concerning inventory adjustments and movement of product Reports discrepancies between physical counts and computer records Researches returned products in order to be re-stocked appropriately Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 1-3 years' experience in Inventory Control, Logistics or Warehouse setting SAP system experience preferred Computer savvy and proficient with MS Office (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Outlook) Ability to lift heavy packages, if necessary ( >25 Lbs.
) Strong analytical and curious mindset Excellent verbal and written communication Bilingual (English / Spanish) Problem Solving Skills Self-motivated, ability to work with minimal supervision, organized, dead-line oriented Punctual & able to work extended hours, as needed Education and Experience High School Diploma Safilo/Smith is a warehouse environment where exposure to dust, dirt, heat, cold and noise occurs.
