Principal Software Engineer-Aurora, CO - ($225K-$300K)

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join a distinguished defense and space manufacturing company renowned for its expertise in Software Engineering and Cyber-Security.
This role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and optimization of ground station software, ensuring its continuous efficiency and reliability.
For the right candidate, will assist with relocation to Colorado.
Role & Responsibilities Oversee the maintenance and optimization of ground station software Collaborate in a SCRUM environment to meet the needs of customers from both the federal and corporate sector.
Utilize your expertise in Software Engineering to develop solutions that adhere to industry best practices.
Skills & Qualifications Active and transferrable TS/SCI Clearance Demonstrable experience in a Linux environment, strong proficiency in C+
and Java ( exceptional command of Java is a must) Experience in satellite ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling.
Prior experience with flight software is a plus.
