PRA) - Level 2.
The PRA will work on the RMPRC project entitled Well-being of the ECE Workforce in Low-resourced Locations (WELL) program, Health Foods for Denver Kids (HFDK) program, and USDA's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program SNAP-Ed program.
Key
Responsibilities:
WELLoConduct teacher observations in participating preschool classrooms.
oAssist with child-level social-emotional data collection at participating preschools.
oConduct teacher interviews.
oAnalyze qualitative data.
oAssist with academic manuscript writing.
HFDKoDistribute written material and model activities with children, parents, and teachers to increase consumption of fruits and vegetables.
oEstablish and maintain cooperative working relationships with classroom staff (e.
g.
, communicate and follow up with classroom staff via email, phone and in person/on site)oObserve classroom activities and collect process and outcome evaluation data.
oSupport nutrition and physical activity digital health outreach called Text2LiveHealthy (e.
g.
message development, monitoring platform, enrolling subscribers).
SNAP-EdoWork directly with tribal partners to build and maintain relationships.
oLiaison between SNAP-Ed and Native American groups, attend meetings and listening sessions.

Qualifications:
Minimum QualificationsApplicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Masters degree in education, public health, health and wellness, psychology, sociology, or a directly related field from an accredited institution, or 5 years of relevant experience (a combination of experience working in education or a school setting, non-profit or community organization, promotion field, and or a related field may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis) 1-2 years of relevant experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated experience in education or health-promotion settings.
Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to establish priorities.
Experience that demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with persons of diverse backgrounds.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in focused and well-organized oral and written presentations.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Knowledge working with early childhood education (ECE) settings and staff members.
