Summary:
Senior Principal Systems Engineer - Command and Control to work in a collaborative, iterative development environment.
In this role, you will work with an amazing team of highly skilled system and software engineers who are leading the industry in ground system solutions.
These programs provide development, integration, operations and sustainment for next generation, cutting-edge satellite ground software.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
o Developing and maintaining Requirements, Algorithm Description Documents and User Manualso Performing functional decomposition of requirements to meet system and domain level needso Participating in system engineering artifact reviewso Conducting performance analysis, risk analysis, and trade studieso Defining external and internal interfaceso Managing and maintaining assigned documents in accordance with established systems engineering and configuration management procedureso Providing clarification of requirements to the software development teamo Supporting the SEIT team in preparation and conduct of program reviewso Completing assigned tasks to meet program schedule milestones Basic
Qualifications:
o Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
o Systems engineering lifecycle experienceo Experience in one or more of the following areas:
operations concept development, requirements administration, functional analysis/synthesis, interface definition and control, and/or verification and validationo Experience in Satellite Command/Control, Mission Management or Flight Dynamics domaino Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environmento Active and transferable U.
