Our Creative department focuses on collaborating with unique brands to create exceptional product photography, videography, graphics, and copywriting for the e-commerce market.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be organized, adaptable, self-sufficient, and diplomatic.
Under the direction of the Director of Production, you will plan, style, and execute product photography both in studio and on location, as well as handle post-production editing and retouching.
Successful Nectar Assistant Photographers need to be highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, as well as coordinate with other team members and stakeholders.
You will enjoy working in this role if you are proactive, as you will have the freedom to take charge of your own work and bring your creative vision to life.
We are looking for a team player and a problem solver, as you will collaborate with others to develop and improve workflows and best practices within the Studio.
You must have previous experience with product photography, photo editing, and photo styling to be considered for this role.
This is a full-time, in-person position based out of Aurora, Colorado.
Planning and styling in-studio & lifestyle shoots.
Producing on-brand, quality product photography on schedule.
Editing and making revisions on time.
Assisting with videography as needed.
Researching unfamiliar products.
Following product photography trends Maintaining proper file naming conventions, asset management, and storage.
Staying up to date with new and popular trends.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment Excellent communication skills Ability to clearly and professionally communicate with clients.
Ability to effectively communicate with and direct remote photo editors & retouchers.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to clearly and professionally communicate with clients.
Experience with strobes and studio lighting.
Experience with manual camera exposure and composition.
Expert knowledge of file types.
Previous experience in product photography.
Ability or interest in styling sets.
Ability to work independently while following overall management strategy.
Tech savvy (proficient in Google Workspace applications).
Ability to adapt and respond to multiple incoming requests and shifting priorities.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Owns photo equipment and lighting, willing to use on-site.
The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $60,000 annually based on experience.
You are also eligible for an end-of-year performance bonus of up to 10% of your salary based on your performance and the company's performance.
You will receive a minimum of one compensation review per 12 months.
This is a salaried on-site position at 40 hours per week.
You will be eligible for employer-provided health, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days.
Nectar provides a 401k plan with an employer match component after 60 days.
Nectar provides each team member with a $200 annual office stipend after 60 days of employment.
You will receive 15 full days of PTO in your first full year after 60 days of employment; and 20 days of PTO in your second full year of employment.
Nectar is closed for 8 days per year, which includes 7 Federal holidays and Black Friday.
We also offer 2 flexible holidays that can be used for Presidents Day, Juneteenth, or Columbus Day.
Nectar provides each team member with a $200 annual office stipend after 90 days of employment.
