Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative Application Engineer is an inside sales and support position tasked with supporting our outside Account Managers and the accounts they manage. Primary responsibilities include: support of AM s in the field, proactively connecting with new and existing customers, and generating new business - all while maintaining our Salesforce.com customer database. Strong organization, mechanical skills, problem solving skills and teamwork with our Account Management team is critical to success of this role.
Responsibilities:
Support Account Managers in the field with technical data and factory communicationsGenerate, deliver, and close small machine & accessory quotes on behalf of Account ManagersGenerate Account Manager leads by proactively prospecting inactive and potential customers to assess customer needsRespond to customer and Account Manager inquiries timely and ensure internal process requirements are metMaintain accurate and up to date records of all customer communications, maintain and accurate pipeline of open opportunities, and asisst in qualifying Account Manager leads as received in Salesforce.comPrepare sales and activity reports, presentations, and studies as needed
Key Competencies:
Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills.Honest, self-motivated and team oriented.Able to work within a team environment and independently.Ability to assess customer needs, analyze and interpret data, perform basic equipment performance calculations, and to recommend technical solutionsMust have excellent prioritization and time management skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum 2 years experience in an industrial sales settingAbility to read blueprints & schematics preferred Knowledge of Salesforce or comparable CRM preferred
For CO residents: The total pay range for this role, including incentive opportunities, is $48,940-$114,130. The total pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
