Job Description:
ITEC is seeking a Principal Network Engineer to work in our Aurora, CO location; with some travel to support operations and activities at the customer facilities in the CONUS, to support Installation, integration and test activities as neededThe Principal Network Engineer will perform network engineering and design, creating engineering design artifacts, hands on administration, implementation, and troubleshooting of enterprise network systemsTasks include designingimplementing switch, firewall, and router configurations, utilizing knowledge and experience with network technologies, services, operations, and associated security practices. Required Skills:
o BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 8 years of related work experience Advanced Experience designing, configuring, deploying, and supporting network systems (E.gCisco, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASA, Brocade).o Experience with Linux System Administration (E.gRHEL 6.0+).o Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g.:
Scrum, SAFe)Desired Skills:
o Current Networking Certification (CCNA, CCNP).o Current Comp TIA Security
