Sr. Contracts Manager with Security Clearance
R-00134747 Description Leidos currently has an opening for an experienced Senior Contracts Manager on the Decision Advantaged Solution Business Area contracts team within National Security SectorThis is an exciting opportunity to use your skills, clearance, and experience to support the research, development, and production of cutting-edge technology to protect our warfighters and the countryThe selected candidate will report to the Contracts Director and support all contract management activities for a diverse portfolio of contracts Work from home options will be available but candidate will need to be local to Reston, VA or Aroura, CO Primary Responsibilities Provide the oversight and evaluation of major proposals, monitoring major contracts, recommending and implementing new solutions to achieve functional objectives, be a critical asset in key negotiations, ability to resolve multi-faceted and complex contractual/customer issues as they arise, resolve performance issues, identify risks and propose mitigation strategies, ensure compliance with Leidos policies, and developing and maintaining excellent customer relationshipsCandidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Must be a consummate team player, routinely interacting with programs, contracts, procurement, finance, project control, legal and export control team members. Proactively engage with Government contracting counterparts in order to be responsive to customer requirements. Lead the review and analysis of Request for Proposals (RFPs) in order to identify and mitigate contract risks. Review and negotiate Teaming Agreements, Nondisclosure Agreements, License Agreements and OCI Mitigation Plans. Basic Qualificationso BA degree
12 or more years of relevant experience; or Masters degree
10 or more years of relevant experience.o Candidate must have in depth knowledge of all contract types (e.g., T&M, FFP, and Cost Plus).o Proven ability to solicit and process complex information and data to solve complex problems and make sound decisions;o Strong interpersonal skills with measured and articulate communication skills; ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers; proven history of building a team environment, fostering communication, listening to staff concerns, and reconciling internal issues or differences.o Experience with Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements and other legal instruments a mustAdditionally, candidate will have a strong background in Federal Acquisition Regulations. o Travel may be requiredPreferred Qualifications Candidate must be a U.SCitizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final TS/SCI Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain a SCI Clearance Original Posting Date:
