Seeking a talented and experienced LINUX and Windows System Administrator to join our team in a classified environment. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining system health and security posture, directly supporting customer mission-critical capabilities. You will work closely with program developers and system engineers to research issues, determine root causes and implement solutions to system problems.
This position is an onsite role. Remote support is not authorized.

Job Description:
Seeking a talented and experienced LINUX and Windows System Administrator to join our team in a classified environment. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining system health and security posture, directly supporting customer mission-critical capabilities. You will work closely with program developers and system engineers to research issues, determine root causes and implement solutions to system problems.

Responsibilities:
- Windows system administrator
- Windows System Administration of Windows Server 2012/2019 and Windows 7/10 including enterprise level administration of common network services such as Active Directory, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, Exchange, group policies, and troubleshooting
- Patch Management (WSUS), McAfee ePO, Clustering, OS Upgrades, computer security and system monitoring and logging
- Scripting, particularly in PowerShell
- Deployment and administration of systems in Amazon WebServices (AWS)/Commercial Cloud Services (C2S)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with efficiency
- Requires the ability to effectively interact with external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations and vendors
- Linux system administrator
- Administering Oracle Linux based systems with minimal support, to include software patching, performance tuning, networking, user management (LDAP), and security patching
- Must be strong in working in a command-line environment
- Hardware and software troubleshooting
- Some scripting knowledge particularly in Bash and Python
Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- Must be able to support occasional after hour maintenance and on-call support
- Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) or acquire one within 30 days of start date. Inability to meet this certification requirement within that timeframe may result in termination
- IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications:
Security
CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND. - Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds in support of hardware installations
- Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience with desktop workstation collaboration products and protocols
- Proficiency with Enterprise level administration of common services such as DNS, sendmail, and LDAP
- Basic Network knowledge
- Strong analytic and research skills - must be detail oriented
