We are seeking a talented Production Supervisor for our 2nd shift operation. He/she will facilitate, coach and mentor team members in the completion of work at our cabinet assembly plant in Aurora, CO.
The select candidate will:
Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to support the Lean culture throughout our facility
Monitor and enforce safety and housekeeping regulations within the department
Confer with other supervisors and managers to coordinate operations and activities within and between departments
Monitor work activities within the department to insure product quality, production requirements and efficiencies are met
Confer with management and participate in employment-related issues for people within the department
Establish work schedules and assignments to meet production goals
Required Experience
3
years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Six sigma/lean manufacturing experience.
Excellent leadership skills, which includes factory floor presence, are essential.
Ability to manage a fast paced, ever changing set of challenges on a daily basis.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
Strong communciation, problem solving and time management skills essential.
Cabinet or furniture finishing experience a plus but not required.
