#### Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for performing emissions test procedures on vehicle chassis dynamometers and.
using other specialized test equipment such as SHEDs
Responsible for monitoring the accuracy and quality of all test data generated
Responsible for the installation of vehicles into the test cell, installing instrumentation, setting
up the test control interface, and maintenance of various measurement devices.

#### Reporting to
Test Engine Manager
#### Specific responsibilities
At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct
High attention to detail and highly professional appearance
Prepare, refuel, install and setup vehicles as necessary for testing
Follow documented procedures to properly execute test plans
Perform initial data quality checks
Configure test site for safe and optimal testing
Become proficient at using the test cell automation systems
Setup data channel configurations and test profiles; save data files in the specified formats
Assist facility and instrumentation engineers to maintain emissions analyzers and ensure
lumbing, air supply and fuel supply are adequate for each test configuration
Conduct vehicle maintenance and component changes
Fabricate and/or modify vehicle test components as required
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable
schedule(s) as necessary
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned
#### Profile
Associates degree in automotive, diesel, engineering technology, and/or computer
technology or related work experience
Experience in engine or vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostic troubleshooting
Skilled use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedule (s) as necessary
Effective at communicating operational issues and test quality issues to engineers and
managers
Valid driving license
Ability and willingness to travel, sometimes on short notice
Reliable transportation
Must successfully pass drug screen and background check.

Able to bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs. stand or sit for up to two hours
Use basic hand and power tools to maintain vehicles and laboratory equipment
Use a MS Windows based computer including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and custom software
Able to read and interpret data to participate in data quality review and troubleshooting
activities

Maintains awareness of hazards and proposes controls to supervisor, HSE Representatives or relevant client / site contact.
Actively participates in incident investigations and risk assessments as deemed necessary by SGS
management.
