Business Development Manager
NW Recruiters is seeking a Business Development Manager. This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining current business relationships and seeking new accounts through business development, marketing, and referrals. Supervises and implements marketing communication projects with responsibilities that include public relations, special events management, advertising, and creating brand awareness.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Organizes the preparation of proposals and presentations using marketing and resource materials such as brochures, data, slides, photographs, and reports
Increases business among existing clients and promotes the organization to new clients in order to meet strategic business objectives
Oversees Contract negotiation and execution
Manages and develops marketing programs and materials to include collateral, advertising, event support, and online promotions
Evaluates and implements appropriate new marketing techniques to increase company business development lead volume
Prepare status reports on marketing and business development efforts
Seeks new referrals and revenue building opportunities within company capabilities
Researches trends and develops strategies that best serve the objectives of the organization
ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assists other departments as requested or assigned
Performs related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND CAPABILITIES
Bachelor's Degree in Business, International Relations, Marketing, or similar field
Five (5) years' experience in Marketing OR a combination of Business Development and Marketing
Involvement in Government Contracts, a plus
Experience with Marketing Software such as PowerPoint, Publisher, Photo Shop, Visio, Adobe, and print devices such as Plotter
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the business development and marketing fields
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Demonstrated high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to communicate effectively, patiently and courteously
Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once and to work positively and effectively within a team or self-directed model
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
