Inside Sales Representatives work in an office environment as part of a team, and are responsible for making outbound calls to acquire new customers and answering inbound calls and new service requests from prospective customers. Follow up and a focus on customer service are key elements to up selling to existing customers and the retention of new sales.

Essential functions of the job:
Expected to answer the customer's questions and detail our services on the initial call.
Performance will be measured on call center metrics.
Acts as the liaison between the customer and the Territory Service Representative, Outside Sales Representative and Managers.
Respond by phone to inquiries from potential and current customers regarding lawn, tree & shrub, pest and special service offerings. May perform outbound calls to gauge customer satisfaction, collect receivables or other outbound calls as deemed necessary by management.
Manage customer retention by handling cancellation calls, service and billing issues. May include assisting with routing issues.
Expected to gain knowledge of Scotts LawnService business.
Responsible for accurate data entry (ie. production invoices, new sales, account edits, etc.) and maintaining the quality of the data base.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
