Outside Sales Representative - (Door to Door Business Sales)
JOB SUMMARY
Sells Digital Marketing services through door to door solicitation to Small and Mid-size Businesses. Commission Only!!!
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Solicits Small and Mid-Size Businesses through door-to-door contact
Explains services available to potential customers and obtains customer orders
Responds to customer problems and complaints according to established Company policy; follows through to ensure issues are satisfactorily resolved
Accurately completes all necessary paperwork to support sales activities in a manner consistent with quality control guidelines, including dispositions, sales orders and sales reporting
Meets established objectives relative to increased sales, yield, completion rates in assigned territories
Collects and accounts for funds and provides receipts according to Company policy and guidelines
Maintains a well-informed knowledge base of competitors' activities throughout assigned territory; informs manager of any changing competitive pricing programs or marketing directions
Attends and actively contributes to sales meetings and training programs
Performs other duties as requested by Manager
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills / Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Knowledge of cold call sales skills
Ability to sell products and services
Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned territories and company facilities using a reliable personal vehicle
Ability to work outside for extended periods in any season and/or during inclement weather.
Familiarity with Digital Marketing Services:
SEO, Social Media Marketing, Web Design
Ability to deal with the public in a professional manner, and maintain favorable relations with customers, vendors and employees within the service area
Certifications and/or Licenses
Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record within Company required standards
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills / Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to maintain high level of self-motivation
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to use personal computer and software applications
Knowledge ofSEO, Social Media Marketing and Web Development services
Experience with consumer education of products and services
Education (level and type)
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
WORKING CONDITIONS
Typically spends approximately 80% of time in an outside environment with exposure to inclement weather.
Minimal time in an office environments.
Must be able to work evenings and weekends, with occasional overtime as business needs dictate.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
