DIRECT HIRE OPENINGS FOR PRODUCTION WORKERS! 1st & 2nd Shifts!
Select Staffing is currently hiring for Direct Hire permanent positions in Aurora.
This is a food production position and is full time with overtime required as needed.
This position is responsible for understanding and following all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies and procedures to ensure safety and quality of food products. Must have prior production/manufacturing experience.
1st Shift Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:00pm PAY $8.75/hr
2nd Shift Monday - Thursday 5:00pm - 3:00am PAY $9.00/hr
Overtime on Friday and Saturday is mandatory as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
o Reliable transportation and be able to work a flexible schedule
o Willing to work overtime, including weekends if necessary
o Read and write in either English or Spanish
o Work in a fast paced, team environment
o Demonstrates good verbal communication skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Able to stand for at least ten hours per day and may have various repetitive motion duties
o Use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms
o Must be able to stoop, kneel or bend
o Employee must lift up to 50 pounds and is required to ask for assistance if limit is exceeded
o Must be able to keep eyes focused on a conveyor belt for a maximum five hours at one time
o Must be able to work in a food allergens environment
o Must be able to work in a very warm environment
