Position: Histotech
Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, and Monday-Thursday, 10 hour Shifts
Location: Aurora, CO
Pay Rate: TBD

Job Responsibilities
As a Histotechnologist, you will perform daily, routine, and specialized histology techniques and procedures, including: embedding, microtomy, grossing, processing, staining, cutting frozen sections, and equipment maintenance for a dermatology pathology laboratory.
Additional responsibilities of the Histotechnologist include:
Preparing histologic slides from tissue sections for microscopic examination and diagnosis by pathologists
Staining tissue specimens with dyes or other chemicals to make cell details visible under microscopes
Cutting sections of body tissues for microscopic examination using microtomes
Mounting tissue specimens on slides

Job Requirements
Successful candidates for the Histotechnologist. Someone with ASCP certification in Histology would be a good fit for this role.
Additional requirements of the Histotechnologist role include:
Associates or bachelors degree in life sciences, preferred
3+ years of experience as a Histotechnician or Histotechnologist, preferred
