International Forwarding Coordinator - Air an Ocean Services (2360-263)

The International Air and Ocean Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and forwarding consignments via air, ocean and intra-European transport. The coordinator provides our customers with cost-effective, secure and compliant routing options. You will also prepare, complete and organize all required documentation in conformance with company standards and in compliance with TSA and FMC regulations. As well as maintain data integrity with Graebel's proprietary database in support of vendor management and forwarding metrics of air, ocean, and intra-European shipments.
Required Skills
Principal/Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Books international air freight, ocean freight and intra-European shipments
Interfaces with air and ocean carriers to effectively forward shipments utilizing the most cost effective vendors and providing secure and compliant routing options.
Prepares, completes and organizes all required documentation in conformance with company standards and in compliance with TSA and FMC regulations
Audits and approves service provider invoices for payment
Performs other related essential duties as assigned or requested
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents, professional journals, and governmental regulations
Ability to write simple reports and general business correspondence
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managemnt, customers, and employees
Abillity to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Ability to travel up to 25% of work time
Required Experience
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge/Experience: One year in international freight forwarding required.
Licenses/Cerfications/specialized Training: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products including: Outlook, Word and Excel. Prior experience with Access preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
