Team Manager - Sales Support

Position Summary:
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be directly responsible for leading a Team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and for implementing the appropriate marketing and sales strategies to ensure that the SDR's meet defined goals and objectives through the use of the SDR selling process.
With guidance from the Regional Sales Director, the ASM partners with Marketing to develop and execute strategies for driving lead conversions as well as Line of Business opportunity development and SDR engagement.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform all management activities of the SDR Team including, but not limited to, performance evaluation, recruiting, training, education, and goal setting
Act as liaison and work collaboratively across all Staples sales channels to coordinate lead activities and drive Lines of Business opportunities
Effectively, coach, guide and develop Sales Development Representatives
Prepare activity reports, presentations and communications for the SDR team
With guidance from the Regional Sales Director, develop, communicate and execute performance metrics to meet team objectives for lead conversions and Lines of Business opportunities
Exhibits proactive communication, assess the need for immediate action and executes accordingly

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
