Sr Director Hospital Services

Provides strategic direction and leadership for a network of integrated hospitals in the region, pre and post-acute care venues, 24/7 nurse advice and repatriation. Responsible for financial and human resources as well as influencing strategic direction. Responsible for performance and outcomes in assigned area and shared responsibility for KPCO operational outcomes. Manages projects of considerable scope and long term regional impact.
Essential Functions:
? Provides leadership for major area of KPCO hospital delivery systems and participates in the overall direction and strategy of hospital delivery systems through leadership & influence.
? Works in collaboration with CPMG and expansion area leadership to set strategic direction for specific hospital based services.
? Seeks opportunities for innovation and assists others in developing executable strategies.
? Directs the design, monitoring and reporting of delivery system performance metrics.
? Plans for long-term changes to optimize existing systems and looks for ways to enhance or develop systems for future capabilities, including operational optimization of new products.
? Manages all aspects of key areas of responsibility, including management of human & financial resources, quality, service, practice standards, contracts and relationships with external vendors.
? Develops standards, quality assurance measures and utilization practices for diverse care programs.
? Plans and executes department and outside costs based budgeting.
? Monitors and identifies trends in areas of managed care, hospital services, care delivery and makes appropriate program changes accordingly.
? Provides leadership of staff.
? This includes interviewing, selecting, and training, motivating, evaluating, counseling, disciplining and terminating in compliance with EEO/AA goals and personnel policies of the organization.
? Responsible for the development of future leaders.
? Provides thought leadership in the interoperability and Health Information Exchange (HIE) prioritization and deployment plans.
? Provides leadership in the design and development of the Hospital Management Plan and supportive infrastructure.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience
? Minimum five (5) years of hospital operations experience.
? Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience in a health care setting, with knowledge and expertise in management principles, collaborative physician management & management of both financial and human resources.
Education
? Master's degree in business or health care administration.
Licenses, Certifications, Registrations
? N/A

Preferred Qualifications:
? RN.
? Registered Nurse or Allied Health professional preferred.
? Demonstrates proficiency in the following key competencies preferred: service orientation, communication, influence, change leadership, results orientation, and cultural competence.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
