Programming Analysis -ETL Developer

We are seeking an energetic and accomplished individual for our Business Intelligence (BI) Senior ETL Developer position with a strong technology and solution delivery acumen who will be accountable for the successful development, delivery and support of business intelligence solutions within Kaiser Permanente Colorado BI Team. This position will work closely with the other members of the BI Team to ensure we can deliver, implement and enhance large and complex projects. This position's main role would be to develop ETL to pull from a variety of sources and then implement the appropriate business rules to join those sources together in the Regional Data Warehouse and Data Marts in order to serve BI customers with the data they need for their analytics. This position will consult with development teams and works closely with business, developers, architects, project management, business analysts, and QA areas across all of BI to deliver on KPCO strategies, capabilities, and processes. The scope of the BI ETL Senior Developer role involves all aspects of the project life cycle from inception to implementation and support. Work categories for this role include designing solutions, determining requirements, analyzing efficiencies, performing coding, may conduct and support functional testing, debugging, documentation, scheduling/managing new program releases and/or updates, configuring/deploying the program/application/system update for implementation and ongoing maintenance.
Essential Functions:
Develop appropriate ETL routines and mappings using Informatica based on the requirements and technical design.
Develops complex applications that combine data from various sources, tailored to specific business needs. Work with key system users to identify user requirements and continuously improve their ability to access information easily and efficiently. Ensure consistency with established data and application standards.
Coordinate and develop process automation/job scheduling, perform testing and defect analysis.
Work with Business Intelligence leadership team to develop and enhance ETL development process to meet the needs of the business and reduce risk.
Participate in design sessions with ETL developers, report developers, DBAs and Business Analysts.
Collaborate with and mentor other team members
Participate in and facilitate design, code, unit test review sessions as needed
Remain current on new ETL techniques and methodologies and communicate trends and opportunities to management and other developers as needed.
Oversees development of project plans, including requirements and level of effort (LOE).
Ensures communication of project status to leadership and issues within team
Develops Data Quality rules and mappings based on the requirements and technical design.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum six (6) years of related experience.
Bachelor's degree in related field OR four (4) years equivalent experience.
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration
Additional Requirements:
6 years of Informatica Power Center development experience using 8.x or 9.x versions.
3Experience running and monitoring ETL using Informatica Workflow Monitor.
3 years of experience writing complex SQL queries.
3 years developing ETL for Oracle 10G or 11G Data Warehouse targets.
Knowledge of data quality, data profiling and dimensional modeling concepts. .
Self-starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Experience working across complex organizational initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
Must have excellent oral/written communications, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple concurrent tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior Healthcare systems and data experience
Prior experience using Oracle RAC technology
Prior experience using Informatica Data Quality (DQ), Data Transformation (DT) or Metadata Manager (MM)
Prior agile ETL development experience knowledge of agile methodologies

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
