This is a fulltime 1st shift days position, 72 hours bi-weekly
RN Medical Office - GYN General Clinic / Maternal Fetal Medicine
The care advisor, registered nurse is responsible for providing telephonic clinical assessment, health education and utilization management services to a variety of clients in the Maternal/Fetal Medicine practice.
Job duties
Coordinate diverse care needs for Maternal/Fetal Medicine, High-Risk Resident and Obstetric Diabetes Clinic patients.
Ability to simultaneously attend to patient needs during nurse visits, perform high-risk obstetric teaching, and assist providers during clinic hours.
Critically think to assess callers' needs and assists them with issues related to patients' care.
Adapts communication style to person representing diverse personal, professional, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
Ability to multi-task; simultaneously think, talks and types.
Uses excellent hearing and listening skills to receive detailed information.
Utilizes the computer database to assess, educate and document all information in an accurate manner. Meets minimum established quality and productivity standards
Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience.
6 months nursing experience
State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. All life support certification cards must be issued by either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer is only good upon hire and all renewals will need to be through an American Heart Association sanctioned course.
At least 1 year of labor and delivery or high-risk obstetric experience.
An interest in high-risk obstetrics.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
