CTG is seeking a great addition to our healthcare client's team!
The Lawson Business Informatics/ Health Care Analytics Intelligence (HCA) Analyst will provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 application support as well as some technical support for the product line. Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work with upper management and develop analytical reporting to meet their business needs. Exceptional understanding and knowledge of the Lawson database structure.
Primary responsibilities include supporting the following Lawson areas:
? Lawson Business Informatics/Health Care Analytics (HCA)
? Crystal Reports (Business Objects)
? Process Flows (PFI v 9.0.1) and/or Infor Process Administration (IPA v 10)
May provide reporting needs for the following Lawson modules:
? Lawson Mobile Supply Chain Management
? Lawson S3 and EMSS
? Lawson Talent Management
? Lawson Human Resources, Payroll and Benefits
? Lawson Financials and GL
? Knowledge of the following technical areas will increase success in this role.
? Scripting
? PERL
? AWK (Used for Unix)
? DOS
? Batch processing
? Excel and Access
? Hex editor
? T-SQL
? SQL
? Resolves open help desk tickets through communication with department staff to identify the issues involved and determining the best possible solution available
? Participate in ongoing projects
? Manage regular system update process, including customer and vendor coordination, testing, change control, and implementation
? Participate in a 24/7 on call rotation with support analyst team
? Provide support for additional applications, including:
? Crystal Reports (Business Objects)
Provide second level determination and resolution of assigned applications:
? Advance the operational efficiency of the use of assigned applications.
? Responsible for the education of customers as to the solution of software problems by answering questions, interpreting operation instructions, and providing references to the administration of end- user applications systems.
? Respond promptly to Helpdesk notifications, customer complaints and concerns.
? Maintain a customer-centric focus when performing functions and duties.
? Monitors the Help Desk ticket application software, responds to calls received via home or cell phone.
? Uses effective problem solving skills by focusing on problems and ensuring that solution and/or deliverables conform to client specifications.
? Completes assigned functions as stated in the engagement proposals or other statements of work with minimal supervision.
? Assists with finalizing forms, procedures, and documentation needed for maintenance of application programs.
? Gathers, reviews, and summarizes information needed to determine solutions for client application software problems.
? Submits internal and external status reports on time and as required.
? Expand refined skills to include the internals of more than one product area and externals of several product areas.
? Communicate effectively with peers, product programmers, customer support representatives, customers, and management, to ensure timely resolutions to reported problems.
? Determine when, where, and how to reroute problems to other technical areas.
? Inform CTG management on client problems and/or engagement quality when appropriate.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
