Position Summary
The HR Business Partner performs Human Resources related duties at the professional level to support the business unit including employee relations and support, communications, recruiting and other transactional support
Responsibilities & Duties
Assist business leaders in determining needs of the organization and develop strategic workforce plan (SWFP), which enables the business functions to succeed in the goals to recruit, develop, and retain, top talent.
Serve as champion of business culture and values, partnering with business leaders to secure delivery of specialized expertise
Coordinate recruitment and selection activities for client group as assigned; coordinate employee on-boarding and process.
Provide guidance and counseling to business leaders and employees regarding HR and business topics, policies and practices.
Employee relations contact to assist employees and managers in resolving issues and grievances.
Assess employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions.
Clarify and drive the execution of HR processes, such as goal-setting, mid and end year performance reviews, succession planning, compensation and others for assigned business units.
Interact with HR Operations & HR Shared Services to define strategies and work together to execute initiatives, programs and policies.
Assess and provide performance feedback; advise leaders and peers on people management matters, strengthening the pipeline of the talent within the function.
Ensure effective communication to employees of Company-related information.
Review and implement Corporate HR policies and procedures as necessary.
Communicate and design action plans around the employee engagement survey results.
Identify training needs and utilize corporate L&D team to design and deliver appropriate training courses.
Work with the business on on-boarding and various manager development programs.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field of study.
PHR, SPHR certification, preferred
Industry/Product Knowledge Required:
Hearing healthcare and/or multiunit retail industry experience, preferred
Proven ability to execute and adapt strategies and business alignments
Significant background in leading and effecting organizational change and culture
Highest level of communication skills in written and spoken formats including facilitation and presentation across all levels of employee groups
Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management with the ability to prioritize workload
Strong analytical and problem-solving and project management skills
Strong attention to detail
Works collaboratively to build, develop and implement process improvements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Work Experience:
5-7 years transactional experience in high-volume, multiunit environment
Proven experience with HR change management
Experience in developing and implementing HR communication and facilitation including project plans, communication cascades.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
