Position Description
Responsible forproviding administrative support for the human resources function including theareas of compensation/benefits, employment, employee relations and training.
Maintains employeefiles and personnel records, processes change of status forms, compilespersonnel statistics and provides information to employees on matterspertaining to personnel forms and records.
May prepare specialreports, such as insurance, COBRA, OSHA, manpower, etc.
May screen, evaluate,and conduct reference checks on candidates, maintain requisition andadvertising logs, administer benefit programs, prepare insurance reportssummarizing claims and coverage, and conduct employee orientation to inform newemployees of company benefits programs
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
4+ years benefits, HR, or related experience
Critical Skills
HR Generalist experience
Thorough knowledge of state and federal lawspertaining to human resources
Project management experience
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Payroll and timekeeping experience
Communication and collaboration includingpresenting to groups for training and business updates
Ability to earn trust and interact effectively atall levels with integrity and respect
Must be open to flexible day hours, Mondaythrough Friday, 8:00 AM till 5:30 PM including one day per week with 12:00 PM starttime
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Experience supporting large groups of NEXemployees preferred
Strong strategic planning skills preferred
Kronos experience preferred
PeopleSoft experience preferred
Taleo experience preferred
Experience with recruiting and behavioral basedinterviewing preferred
Experience with planning and leading trainingsessions preferred
At least Bachelor's degree preferred
Education
High School diploma or equivalent

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
