Auto Body Repair Technician - 2nd Shift

DescriptionPerform repairs to automotive body to include disassembly and reassembly, exterior plastic and composite repairs, body part or panel replacement and preparation for refinish application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewrepairorder or tracking label to verify work to be performed.

  • Remove and replace or restore defective panels and other components as required.

  • Applysurface coatings following applicable procedures and disposal processes.

  • Finishallrepairsinaccordance with repair order and to customer satisfaction.

  • Complete and submit required completed repair documentation.

  • Followallapplicablesafety and health procedures.



  • HighSchoolDiploma or equivalent preferred.

  • PaintTrainingCertificationmeeting HAPS 6H requirements.

  • ValidRespiratorFit Test Certificate required.

  • Validdriver?slicenseandsafe driving record required.

  • Abilityto drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.

  • Abilityto work in a fast paced environment.

  • Effectiveverbalcommunication and customer service skills.

  • Goodorganizationalandinterpersonalskills.

  • Basiccomputer skills preferred.

  • Abilityto lift and carry up to 25 pounds (e.g., tools, equipment, etc.).

  • Visionabilitiesrequiredincludeclose,distanceandcolorvision,depthperceptionandabilityto adjust focus.


  • 1 year of customer service experience preferred.

  • 1 ? 3 years of collision and/or mechanical estimating experience preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
