Sales Development Rep

Position Summary:
Staples Business Advantage ? Business to Business Sales is looking for Sales Development Reps who are confident, self-motivated, and thrive on exceeding goals set for them. As a Sales Development Rep (SDR), you will be the first point of contact for new mid-sized Staples Advantage customers. It is vital that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to engage and connect with a wide range of potential customers.
Responsibilities:
Manage inbound customer leads for a set territory. You will be responsible to qualify them and feed them into the sales pipeline.
Work closely with your peers from the Inside Business Development team to determine the accounts that require research and prospecting activities to secure a sufficient flow of additional qualified opportunities.
Scrubbing leads in our CRM database and then assigning them accordingly.
Review market sales insights in Salesforce.com to understand needs and interests of the prospects including but not limited to understanding what content the prospect consumed, what pages they visited, how frequently they visited, etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
