I have 4 openings with our client, Raytheon for Systems Administrators to work on-site at Raytheon in Aurora, CO. This is an Automation Consulting project.

Job duties:Provide technical services support for the GPS OCX Program, in the areas of Chef Client v11 upgrade to Chef Client v12 Chef Compliance, Test Kitchen and ChefSpec adoption
+ Automation of the custom CI and/or COTS/FOSS deployments and audits into the development and integration environments
+ Provide Automation Scripts and documentation
+ Support the automation of the GPS-OCX COTS, FOSS and/or custom CI deployments into the development and integration environments. The automation scripts will be created in a modular design such that they can be reused in different deployment environments with minimal change (e.g., attribute changes instead of rewriting the entire automation). In addition, the scripts will be created in compliance with GD60916-SW-004 Chef Cookbook Development Guidance. Ability to mentor team in adopting Chef Compliance, Test Kitchen and convert from Chef Client v11 to v12. Ultimately, success will be judged by the adoption of the automation by the program-based deployment SMEs and the training provided by Subcontractor through day-to-day interaction.
Automation Development requirements:
+ 3+ years of Chef Deployment automation experience.
+ Linux and/or Windows system administration experience.
+ Specific experience with custom software deployment and configuration. Ability to work closely with custom software subject matter experts to ensure proper deployment and configuration. Experience using Chef with Oracle Weblogic, Oracle Database, VMWare vCloud or vSphere and orchestrating Chef Deployments with Rundeck a plus.
+ Chef Client upgrade requirements: Experience with upgrading cookbooks from Chef Client v11 to Chef Client v12
+ Chef Compliance adoption requirements: Experience with adopting testing utilizing Chef Compliance, ChefSpec, Test Kitchen for functional and security tests/audits.
+ Mentor junior Chef developers in use of Chef Server, Chef Client, Chef Compliance and developing automation scripts.
+ Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret or higher clearance (Current clearance not required)
+ 4-6+ years of relevant experience directly related to Linux Server and/or Windows Desktop administration, builds, installation and configuration
+ Understanding of COTS product installs
+ Familiarity with scripting (i.e. Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby)
+ Familiarity with automation CHEF recipe and cookbook development, automation control and distribution of builds are key skills for this position
+ Security patching experience (VMware, RHEL and Windows patches, Oracle client, Symantec Endpoint, etc.)
+ Other industry certifications (Security +, CISSP, Windows, ITIL, etc.), is a plus
+ Proven ability to troubleshoot configuration problems and / or complex system issues
+ Version Control of software and applications related to Clearcase and familiarity with Defect Reports, Change Requests, and ticket request systems ?s written with Clearquest
+ Experience with desktop workstation collaboration products and protocols
+ Experience with VMware Virtual servers and desktop infrastructures
+ Proficiency with Enterprise level administration of common network services such as Active Directory, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP and troubleshooting as well as Microsoft Office Suite
+ Experience working with DISA STIG Implementation
+ Centrify Experience
+ B.S./B.A. in Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, (or a minimum 8 years equivalent experience with industry certifications in Lieu of a degree)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
