About the role
In order to help Cochlear maintain existing applications and deliver new service offerings through the implementation of cross-functional, strategic projects we are recruiting for a Team Lead Application Services within our IT department located in our Americas head office based in Centennial, CO.
This role is focused mostly on technical management and managing small, high performance teams across the globe. In this permanent role you'll have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to Cochlear's successful history of innovation by applying your knowledge of IT application management. This position will also partner with the business to continually improve the business processes supported by these applications, analyze and make recommendations
Key Responsibilities
This role will contribute to the upkeep of the IT Service Catalogue, ensure adherence to OLAs/SLAs, and contribute to the incident and problem management process. It also carries responsibility to ensure global standards are followed for end user technology.
To be successful in this role you will need to manage a functional team and maintain the smooth operation of applications to deliver excellent IT services to end users globally. The team focuses on systems analysis and application administration activities across our existing and future applications and the relevant integrated systems
Key Requirements
To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience in your application and at interview:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent education and experience
Proven experience with applications management and other integrated systems
5+ Years of experience in technical and functional analysis in supporting and implementing systems
Experience with global companies
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross functional teams
Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively present to both Senior Management and staff
Ideal Requirements
Extensive knowledge of Cochlear applications and related tools
Software/system support in the Medical Device industry
Experience in leading/managing Support or Functional teams
Exposure to Project Management Office methodology
Experience working in life sciences industries, preferably medical devices industry experience
ITIL certified strongly preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
