Image Scientist, Senior

Key Role:
Perform as a critical team member for a geographically dispersed group in a lab environment, developing innovative image processing techniques for multiple sensors and data formats. Collaborate across a multi-site organization to maximize the effectiveness of team contributions. Develop prototype solutions employing non-traditional means to meet emerging and difficult needs.
Basic Qualifications:
8 years of experience as an image scientist
1 years of experience in the IC
Experience with developing Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for new processing capabilities
Experience with developing image processing algorithms and assessing the quality of algorithm outputs
Experience with customer tool sets and the TCPED cycle to generate new ways to process data
Experience with rapidly prototyping applications in various relevant programming environments, including Matlab, IDL, C , Java, or Perl scripting
TS/SCI clearance required
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with LiDAR, OPIR, DEMs, and other data formats preferred
Experience with developing multi-INT solutions preferred
Experience with collaborating with engineers on solving high current interest problems
Experience with identifying and working closely with customers proactively who will benefit from employing non-traditional means to meet emerging and difficult needs
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph preferred
BA or BS degree in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics field

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
