Summary: The Computer Scientist/Systems Analyst-Senior provides techniques for building complex software systems to meet the needs of the Government.

Perform in a timely and cost-effective manner, resulting in final products that meet agreed upon specifications and quality standards.
Tackle complex problems and produce high-quality solutions on time and to budget.
Ability to identify requirements, deciding how the requirements will be met by the system, designing suitable software and/or hardware components, and implementing the system.
Design, implement, and delivery of sophisticated software systems.

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
Bachelor's Degree in related field
Minimum of five (5) years demonstrated experience.
Ability to obtain Security certification or CISSP.
Requires a background in Developing C# for client server applications and developing Access applications with ODBC connections. Both environments should include understanding of Application program interfaces (API's), Microsoft messaging and ability to connect with other MS applications.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Should be comfortable working in Microsoft's Visual Studio and be knowledgeable with the software development life cycle.
Be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
Must be well organized and be able to manage numerous, simultaneous activities.
Functional knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Windows-based operating systems is required.
A bonus is understanding of Microsoft's Team Foundation Server environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
