Summary: The Database Manager provides program management operational support to the DHA-Aurora office, responsible with monitoring and evaluating all aspects of the TRICARE Program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)
Lead DBA activities including installing, maintaining, upgrading and administering full-featured database management systems and related tools.
Plan and manager Database events such as refreshes, back-ups, restores, upgrades, etc
Support application developers in planning preparation, load analysis, and backup and recovery of data.
Prepare and deliver presentations on DBMS concepts.
Provide Data Modeling and normalization of raw data
Work with other senior technical and user staff to complete projects.
Monitor, maintain, upgrade and administer full-featured database management systems such and related tools.

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
Bachelor's Degree in related field
Minimum of two (2) years demonstrated ability to manage the development of database projects.
Ability to obtain Security certification or CISSP
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
Must be well organized and be able to manage numerous, simultaneous activities.
Functional knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Windows-based operating systems is required.
Experience with Database encryption preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
