The Center for Dependency, Addiction and Rehabilitation (CeDAR) is a leading residential addiction treatment center specializing in patients dealing with dual substance abuse and mental health disorders.
We are seeking a full time Addiction Medicine Physician to provide full scope of integrate inpatient, residential and ambulatory addiction medicine.
Specific duties include:
Clinical Care- Providing high quality direct patient care in various CeDAR and other clinical settings including integrated consult, primary care, and outpatient programs, as well as functioning as an attending physician and supervising mid-levels, students, residents and fellows providing care.
Teaching and Mentoring- Providing education to residents and medical students during their rotations as well as learners in the CeDAR American Board of Addiction Medicine ( ABAM ) fellowship training program.
Administrative/Professional Development- maintaining certification, keeping abreast of medical developments and attending and presenting at conferences or other professional development activities.
This position is posted at the Senior Instructor level; in the event that one's experience exceeds that of a Senior Instructor, Assistant Professor will be considered.
Minimum Qualifications:
? Terminal degree in Medicine or Osteopathy (MD or DO).
? Colorado Medical License and possession of a current DEA Certificate.
? SAMHSA Data 2000 Buprenorphine Waiver.
? Board Certified/Board Eligible in an appropriate medical specialty.
? Board Certified/Board Eligible in Addiction Medicine.
? Ability to be fully credentialed with the UCH system and UPI Managed Care.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
? Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with CeDAR, Department of Family Medicine and Department of Psychiatry faculty and staff.
? Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks and maintain a well-organized work environment.
? Ability to maintain confidentiality.
? Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
? Capacity for flexibility and adaptability in different work situations.
? Ability to work well with diverse populations.
? Experience training and developing staff and for teaching students and residents.
? Ability to meet CeDAR-specific competencies and expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
? Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
? Experience in an integrated practice environment.
? Experience or interest in education and research.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
