Position Summary:

We are looking for Sales Development Reps who are confident, self-motivated, competitive and who thrive on exceeding goals set for them. It is vital that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to engage and connect with a wide range of potential customers.
What You‚ ll Do:

As a Sales Development Rep (SDR), you will be the first point of contact for new sales prospects for Staples Business Advantage customers. Sales Representatives are self-disciplined and will manage the inbound lead activity in their territory, qualifying active buying interest and developing opportunity in prospect accounts. You will also coordinate with your Inside Business Development Rep. (IBD) counterparts to determine the accounts that require research and prospecting activities to secure a sufficient flow of additional qualified opportunities. You will also be responsible for scrubbing leads in our CRM database and then assigning them accordingly. In addition, you will review market sales insights in Salesforce.com (SFDC) to understand needs and interests of the prospects including but not limited to: understanding what content the prospect consumed, what pages they visited, how frequently they visited, etc.

What You‚ ll Need:
High school diploma or GED
1-2 yeas‚ experience in a Customer Service or Sales driven role
Experience using a computer, excel and outlook
Strong organization and time management skills
Able to juggle multiple priorities and competing deadlines
Adaptable to a fast-paced organization with continuous change
Ability to work in a team sales environment
Professional and positive communication skills
Positive attitude and approach
Demonstrated self-starter
What We Would Prefer, but not required:
College degree
Ability to communicate to various groups and levels within an organization
Results-oriented, driven by both financial and career opportunities
Experience selling over the phone
Proactive in nature
Previous experience using salesforce.com or a comparable sales tool

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
