►Managed controllable costs including merchandise/cash variations, salaries, overtime, cash, repair and maintenance.  Reduced combined shrink of cash and merchandise to .25% of sales at a budget of .75% to sales.  Achieved salaries targets by controlling overtime and maximizing scheduling based on sales trends.


►Achieved financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing  variances and initiating corrective action.


►Focused on reduction of turnover for both part-time and full-time employees and at the store manager level by fostering a people first environment.  Reduced CSR turnover by 22.25% in last rolling 13 periods  and store manager turnover to 10.0% with division numbers at 159.75% and 26.5% for PT/FT CSR’s and SM positions.


►Ensured compliance with requirements , policies and procedures by enforcing adherence to corporate and regions policies and governmental regulations.  Confirmed all State and Federal laws were followed by partnering with Human Resources to continue my development and that of my direct reports.


►Provided Leadership  and direction to Store Managers, including assistance in recruiting selection and orientation processes, assisted with employee development and training programs.  Implemented  development strategies at each store to allow all employees to promote up at their pace and skill level.


►Maintained  a professional and supportive image among subordinates and supervisors.   Motivated  and engaged direct reports and teams to ensure a positive working environment and increased morale by implementing reward & recognition plans.


►Developed, managed and assigned tasks to Store Managers effectively to ensure the site is clean, adequately stocked, organized and well-kept based on Company standards.  Maintained an average score of 99.89% on company in-stock shops at an expected score of 98.0% and a mystery shop score of 99.90% with a target score of 98.0%.


►Received Market Manager of the Year Award in 2014 with Circle K Stores Inc., Southwest Region.  Consistently had multiple managers in top 10% in sales, merchandise variation, cash variation, image, turn-over and in-stock scores.  Last five (5) years produced the Store Manager of the Year for the Colorado Division.


►Maintained a safe working environment by ensuring all employees knew and understood all safety practices and procedures by following a 5-Minute Rule.  Reduced year over year Worker’s Compensation recordables & injuries.
