As a Specimen Accessioner laboratory specimens were prepared for designated departments/locations prior to laboratory analysis and testing. Unpack specimens from branches or ports and route specimens by type to various staging areas. Prepares all specimens received for testing in designated laboratory departments or locations such as staging of specimens, centrifuge, separate serum, and blood smears. Aliquots sample for departments. Prepares excess specimen samples for storage and resolves and document problem specimens.

Received inbound calls for a call center environment from hospitals, nursing homes, and hospice care facilities for mobile ultrasounds, x-rays, and lab draws. Dispatch out to the phlebotomist, ultrasound and x-ray technicians to different facilities with the proper information in order to do the testing. Answered several phone calls from technicians concerning our equipment , oxygen home care customers and drivers. Locating  test results, fax and file as requested. Assist co-workers with any additional information that was needed.
