The house is from the 40s so it is most definitely old, and there is some staining on the linoleum tiles in the bathroom. That being said, the space really is clean and comfortable. The ceilings are standard height so no stooping even for the vertically well-endowed, there is an egress window that brings in a ton of natural light (and an alternative exit if you're someone who enjoys variety), and the bathroom is curiously large; about 3 times the size up the upstairs bathroom. One other odd but nice thing for this particular basement is that is stays really warm in the winter as well as cool in the summer because the furnace is right outside the bedroom door and heats the basement quite thoroughly. House Mates A little about your future roommates: The homeowner is a truly spectacular human being! He works as an organic farmer and his schedule reflects that; early to bed early to rise though he can sleep through anything, you wont need to change your own activities to accommodate him. He is relaxed, outgoing and always looking to experience something new, but respects privacy and boundaries and asks the same in return. Hobbies include climbing and biking as per the Denver millennial mandate but he loves vegging and puzzles just as much. Your other roommate will be the tenant in the upstairs bedroom. She is new transplant eager to make connections in Colorado and explore the city and the mountains. She does have a cat so pets are still welcome as long as they can cohabitate well with other animals! We own the home and are actively working to improve it so it is important to us that whoever is renting will be respectful of the space. We are looking for an individual or a couple of individuals that are kind and communicative and most importantly compatible.
